Diversiology Founder's Moment

💪 Founder Moment of the Week

This week, I’m proud to celebrate a milestone that represents much more than a number. Diversiology.IO's LinkedIn page has officially reached 1,000 followers on LinkedIn. In a year where DEI has faced significant challenges, this achievement is a powerful reminder that our work matters. It’s validation that the commitment to creating inclusive and equitable workplaces is shared by many, and proof that betting on authenticity—staying true to who we are—pays off, even when the journey is tough.

"We have the power to live lives that are proud, purposeful, and unapologetic."
– Rocki Howard

Thank you to everyone supporting this mission. Together, we’re just getting started! 🚀

📊 Diversity Stat of the Week

Did you know that Latinas earn only 51 cents for every dollar earned by non-Hispanic white men? For full-time, year-round workers, this gap improves slightly to 58 cents on the dollar. This disparity results in a typical Latina losing over $1.2 million over a 40-year career, reflecting ongoing systemic inequities in the workforce.

Why this matters: As we mark Latina Pay Gap Day, this statistic is a stark reminder that we have a long way to go in achieving pay equity. It’s not just about equal pay—it’s about ensuring economic security for Latinas and creating inclusive workplaces where they can thrive. Let’s continue pushing for change!

For more information on this gap and ways to address it, visit Equal Rights Advocates or Latina Equal Pay.Org.
